Kayyur Cheemeni Grama Panchayat MAP Geography
Kayyur-Cheemeni Grama Panchayat is located at the southern end of Kasaragod district, adjacent to the Kannur district border, and comprises a coastal area full of coconut and cassava trees, vast paddy fields, hill slopes, and beyond that, laterite areas at an altitude of 4050 feet above sea level
The slope of the Kayyur Cheemeni Grama Panchayat, which stretches 32 km westwards on the banks of the Tejaswini River, is from south to north. The highest point is Muthupara and the lowest point is Ramanchira. There are many streams and rivulets that originate from the hillsides and flow first northwards and then westwards along the coastal area before joining the Karyankotupuzha.
